AAVYA RAJAWAT
I never used to receive calls from family. But ever since I married Vihaan, his family members have been calling me quite regularly. And after they found out about my health a month ago, the number of calls has only increased.
His mum and dad even showed up at our place last week. Arya’s been video calling me quite often too. At first, it felt strange—like they were all pitying me. But their behaviour hasn’t changed. It’s still warm. Still... consistent.
Arya feels more like a younger sibling now. She rants about her day, her college friends—and at this point, I’ve started to hate that girl I’ve never even met, yet I know every little piece of gossip from her university.
Rooh is the calmer one. Since we’re closer in age, she reminds me of Jhanvi. But where Jhanvi is wild—lives for parties, loud music, and fun—Rooh is the opposite. She’s quieter. She likes sweets. She feels like the softer version of the chaos I’m used to.
