I looked at him as Aaran buttoned his shirt. He is barely looking at him while my eyes follow him everywhere like a lost puppy. After I woke up half an hour and expected him to interrogate me like an officer all he did was to ask. “How are you? Can you breathe probably? Do you still feel that dizziness?”
And I shook my head because I was all good. Later I realized that it was around mine in the morning and Aaran was late—which he isn't known for. Later, he slipped into the bathroom and I started thinking about the last night but ended up recalling a few things.
I was all set to go back to work but Aaran called Killian and asked—no, he never asks anytime to anyone he ordered Killian to clear my schedule for today as I won't be able to make up. “Take a proper rest.” This is the last thing he said before walking to the bathroom.
