My eyes fall on the black shadow walking away as I press the phone to my ear. I took a step forward, my hands grabbing the window sill as I saw him walking away.

The cold wind slaps my face leaving goosebumps and a reminder to wear warm clothes. It felt as if someone had their eyes on me, as if they wa—no, I am just overthinking.
