“I think we should get a few tests done, Aavya.” Rooh bhabhi’s voice reached my ears, and before I could stop myself, I was already stepping into the room. Two pairs of eyes turned toward me. Rooh bhabhi didn’t look surprised—but my wife did. She looked furious. Her eyes widened just enough to make me feel like I had stumbled onto something she had been trying to hide.
“What’s up, beautiful ladies? Did I—interrupt something?” I asked, my gaze flicking between the two women in front of me. Aavya parted her lips, ready to say something, but bhabhi cut in before she could. “Not really,” she said casually. “We were just talking about… stuff. But don’t you think Aavya has lost a lot of weight lately?”
I turned to look at my wife.
